Var, the advertising arm of VRT, wanted to bet on digital renewal through an always-on content marketing approach. To roll out this new approach, they needed a strategic partner to provide them with a new customised website, Content Management System and maintenance for the new systems. We helped them further.

Furthermore, we chose an agile way of working and worked in two-week sprints. At the end of such a sprint, an MVP was delivered that was ready to go into production.

We helped VAR set up and build out a flexible CMS (Sulu) for creating and managing enterprise multi-sites and a reliable development environment for powerful apps. With its features for developers and a great UI for editors, the new platform is the engine for state-of-the-art business websites and web-based software.
MyVar
MyVar is not a CMS, we therefore recommended not developing these functionalities in a CMS or CMS framework but opting for customisation. We chose the Symfony framework alongside a CMS solution.
After care
Recently, we gave VAR's CRM an update. Sulu went from version one to version two, so we couldn't stay behind. New features were no longer supported in the old CMS. Plus we didn't want to run any security risks. With the update performed, VAR's CMS not only has a new body, but is also completely future-proof again!
