A flexibel and easy-to-use website in Sulu CMS for PHPro!
The website of PHPro, a digital agency specializing in building e-commerce applications, was in need of renewal. The previous Content Management System (CMS) was not flexible enough and the users working with it did not find it easy to manage. In addition, the website's appearance could also use a makeover.

Tailr is a subsidiary of PHPro? A few years ago, PHPro started specialising more and more in e-commerce and Magento, but custom development also remained a very important part of its services. As a result, Tailr was born: the partner for tailor made websites and applications.
The approach: Why Sulu CMS?
Before we dived right into a new platform, we started with a comprehensive discovery analysis. This discovery analysis allows us to map out the client's high-level needs and which functionalities should be linked to them.
For PHPro, this translated into mapping out the required landing pages, the functionalities of those pages and which content management system would best fit them. This gave us a good overall picture of the scope, budget and planning for this project.
Sulu CMS
After this analysis, Sulu CMS was chosen as the content management system. Why? Sulu CMS is a headless CMS. A headless CMS greatly increases the flexibility of development, something PHPro was explicitly looking for. Sulu CMS is based on several state-of-the-art front-end technologies, such as React and NextJS, which enhances the speed of the website (and thus user-friendliness and technical SEO).
Time for a redesign
After choosing technology and discovery, we moved into more detailed workshops where designs were made up. In this redesign, the focus was on UX, mobile and well-structured pages.
The Tailr team started developing in two weeks sprints. After two months, the PHPro team could start testing and filling in content themselves.
Although we are tool-independent, it is no secret that we at Tailr are huge fans of Sulu CMS - we are even Silver Partner! Sulu leans closely to the already known tech stack on Symfony, something we at Tailr specialize in.
So based on the thorough analysis, it quickly became clear that Sulu CMS was a perfect match between PHPro and Tailr.
Fresh look & new leads!
The entire process, from analysis to delivery, took about 4-5 months.
