To determine strategy, we start with a Discovery phase. We explore and collect data. What does the software need to be able to do? What are the objectives? And what do we need to deliver for that? In short, we determine the scope of the project and its priorities.

The next step is a Kick-off meeting with key stakeholders. The goal is to establish a unified vision and strategy. For this, it is important that all noses are pointed in the same direction.

During the kick-off, the team gets to know each other, milestones are discussed, risks are identified, deliverables are set, and the schedule is knocked off. It serves as a recipe for success for efficient project execution.

Optionally, we also outline your digital strategy. We help create a digital marketing plan. To do this, we create personas: we create detailed, fictional profiles of ideal customers or target groups. This helps you better understand your customers. We also map out the customer journey. This includes all interactions - from first contact to after the purchase of a product - that a customer has with your company.

As a final part of the strategy, we create wireframes and UX design. Wireframes are a schematic representation of the website or application. This gives clients an initial idea of what the layout will look like. UX design points to the user experience customers have when interacting with an app or website.

After the discovery phase, we fly into software development. This starts with a functional and technical analysis. We establish a clear plan of what the software should be able to do, why and how. We discuss the functional requirements in detail and document them in confluence. This ensures that we work purposefully toward first-time-right success.

During development, we choose an optimized agile working method. Although we strongly believe in scrum, we do not apply it in its most rigid form. We put our own Tailr spin on it that makes our way of working unique. For example, we make real estimates in time instead of working with story points. We provide self-managing teams with an involved project manager each time. And we think separate sprint review meetings are a waste of time, so we don't need them.

After project delivery, you can count on our aftercare. We offer you support through a Service Level Agreement (SLA). There you have the choice between continuous development or project-based support.

Regardless of which option you choose, with Tailr you enjoy periodic roadmap sessions. Every quarter, we review together whether there are any bottlenecks and set the overarching goals. We use the roadmap sessions to determine our focus for the coming months.
